The AT-140N is primarily used for tuning and adjusting the antenna for the iCOM HF transceivers. It allows users to set the correct antenna length for optimal signal reception and minimize the SWR (Static Wave Ratio). The AT-140N is designed to be user-friendly, with a built-in super capacitor that ensures the memory backup of up to 45 frequencies even if the device is not used for a week. It also emits low output power during tuning to reduce interference to other stations.
